Jariah Syn é o melhor amigo e sócio de Cade Skywalker da Legacy era. Quando Cade foi encontrado pela tripulação de Ravik, a deriva no espaço, depois do massacre ao Templo Jedi pelas tropas Sith-Imperias, Jariah, também um órfão foi sua única e verdadeira amizade em sua nova vida como pirata. É um homem simples, versátil, não muito brilhante e viciado em explosões que carrega um ódio mortal contra os Jedi por terem matado seu pai. Cade nunca contou para Jariah de seu passado como um jedi, o que acaba criando bastante confusão entre os amigos quando a verdade vem a tona.
Jariah é um Faz-Tudo, com grande facilidade em aprender, reparar e manipular qualquer tipo de tecnologia, incluindo a ilegal biomecânica dos Vongs. Explosivos são sua especialidade e verdadeira paixão!
